Louie A. Loetscher, 88, of Little Rock, father of Louie Arthur
Loetscher of Vilonia, died Saturday (June 12, 1999) at his home.
Born Sept. 16, 1910, in Little Rock, son of the late John Andrew
and Emma Sophie Velta Loetscher, he was a retired building
contractor, a deacon of Baseline Missionary Baptist Church, a
World War II veteran, and a 50-year member of Iron
Masonic Lodge No. 342.
Other survivors are his wife, Willie Mae Halley Loetscher; two
other sons, Howard D. Loetscher of Pine Bluff and Kenneth A.
Loetscher of Benton; two daughters, Mary Lou Booker of Bristow,
Okla., and Nancy Sue Halbert of Benton; a brother, Raymond
Loetscher of Little Rock; a sister, Bernice Gideon of Little Rock; 16
grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Baseline Missionary
Baptist Church with Howard Loetscher and Mike Brumback officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park by Griffin Leggett Healy
and Roth.
