I got this from another mailing list that I subscribe to. It's
worth checking in to. I already have one book from before 1900
that I'm considering them for (or maybe trying to do it
myself!).
Just thought that it was interesting!!!

Here it is...
I do know that we are not permitted to advertise business's etc,

however,
this site is operated by ROD NEEP and is he is transcribing old
books
onto
CD's by scanning them and then getting volunteers to transcribe
them..This
is a must see site for all and is a must for all to put on their
lists
I
think...Rod is doing a fantastic job and the whole project is
wonderful..
The site is "Archive CDs Books"....They are constantly looking
for old
books
that they can borrow and scan (have a look at the way they do it
so as
not to damage the books)..it is wonderful..

This is a must see site for everyone...book mark it and have a
look...
