My ggg grandfather Robert Sanders, b. abt 1800, married Sarah Phillips in 1826 in Morgan Co., GA. Their first child, James Alford was my gg grandfather. We believe that Robert's father was George Sanders, but can't prove it. There is a George Sanders in Morgan Co. in the 1820 census. According to that census there are seven males in the household, two of whom would be about the right age to be Robert. Does anyone have any information on this family, i.e., children's names, birth place, etc.?
