Hi Patsy -

Speaking of books . . . I'm sure most of the people on this list will be
happy to know that Michal Martin Farmer has a brand new Morgan Co. book out
called "Morgan County, Georgia, Deed Books A-G, 1808-1820." She did a GREAT
job abstracting the deeds! It has a full-name index, 534 pages, 6 x 9".
Also she has 2 map inserts (one of the east side of the county, one of the
west side) that shows land lots and districts.

The front matter of the book (22 additional pages) tells about the creation
of the county, how land in Morgan Co. was distributed in the 1805 & 1807 land
lotteries, creation of Morgan Co. in 1807, and many other items of
information about Morgan Co. Seven pages of various maps are also included
in the front matter.

This is truly a long-awaited book on Morgan Co.!!!
