Hey John,

In my new Morgan County GA Newspapers book, which comes out about February, Grant PERRY is mentioned twice:

1. He is a member of the grand jury in Morgan County in Sept. 1878.

2. In May 1879, there is this interesting little blurb about him: "Mr. Grant Perry took off [of] his two year old Merino buck, 20 pounds, and his ewe, 10 pounds of wool at one fleecing this week. These are the sheep he lately brought from the West. Off of his ordinary Merinos he gets 9 pounds each."

There is also mentioned "the new road leading to Perry's to Shepherd's district has been opened," in March 1879.

And in July 1879, "Misses Perry, of this county, and Harris of Washington, were guests of Mr. L.T. Penick, this week.
