I am a Geis decendant....
I have looked tonight and I do not find a Karl, but I do have Bertha ?? who married Sam Geis. He was the son of George Peter Geis and Kate.

I have that Bertha was born Nov 26, 1901 and died April 23, 1985. Her husband Sam was born June 16, 1898 and died Nov 4, 1985. The are both buried in the Kingfisher Cemetery.

They had 3 children:
1) Kermit b. Nov 23, 1921 d. Sept 1, 1987
He is buried in the Kingfisher Cem.
married Nova F. ?? Aug 19, 1943
2) Wilma...married laurence Yost
3) Bernita...married Ralph McKeever

This is just the basic info I have had for years. I am really just getting into finding out more about the "Peter and Catherine Geis" family. They were from Messer, Russia.

Anyway, I just was wondering if this might be the Aunt Bertha that you mentioned.
