Subject: Tom Richards, GA (1799) Morgan and Coweta Counties

Seeking help in finding the parents of Tom Richards. He born in Morgan
County, GA. He was married to Polly Lea TATE (daughter of Robert Lee TATE and
Martha BREWER) in Coweta County, GA. Polly Lea TATE was born on 10 Jan 1799
in Elbert County, Ga. Tom RICHARDS and Polly Lea TATE had the following
children all born in Coweta County, GA.:

Andrew J. RICHARDS Name of wife is unknown. They did have a child named
Lewis who moved to Texas and another son named Jim. Andrew served as a
Corporal, Company K, 30th Georgia Infantry. This company was lead by his
brother Captain William B, Richards

Robert Lea RICHARDS was born on 17 Jun 1819 Robert J. Richards was a lawyer
and at one time Ordinary of Campbell County, GA. He and his wife, Elizabeth
Elrod, had at least five sons; Tom, William (Buck) Jack, Tompkins and James.
At least two daughters, Mary who married Joe Wilkins and Almeda (Meedie)
who married Bob Hilley.

James RICHARDS was born about 1820.

William B. RICHARDS. (See below)

Martha Kendall RICHARDS was born on 18 Feb 1823.

John Perry RICHARDS was born about 1825.

Elizabeth Haskins " Betsey" RICHARDS was born on 11 Mar 1827.

Edmond RICHARDS was born on 7 Aug 1829. Edmund married a Hodge and they
moved to Arkansas.

George Washington RICHARDS was born after 1830. George Washington was also a
Private in Company K, 30th Georgia Infantry. While fighting in the Civil War
he became sick, returned home, where he died.

Frances Marion RICHARDS was born after 1830. Frances Marion married Mary
Benton. They had five sons: Will, James, Robert, Earl and Henry and three
daughter; Sallie, Lizzie and Leiula.

William B. RICHARDS (my great grandfather was born on 7 May 1821. He was
married to Sarah M. MOSELEY (daughter of Elijah MOSELEY and Susannah
HUBBARD) on 25 Dec 1844 in Coweta County Ga.. Sarah M. MOSELEY was born
about 1814. William B. RICHARDS and Sarah M. MOSELEY had the following
children:
Roxana "Rocksey V." RICHARDS.
Marietta (Burnette) RICHARDS.
Sarah Florence "Missie" RICHARDS.
Alabama Missouri "Bamma" RICHARDS.
Alabama Missouri RICHARDS is my grandmother. She married Reese Phillip
WATKINS in Campbell County, GA 15 Dec 1869. More than willing to share
