Oliver Chaffins is the son of William Jefferson Chaffins and his second wife
Emaline Hicks. William b.1850 d.1946 was the son of Samuel Nelson Chaffins
and Nancy Jane Sutton. Emaline is the daughter of Smith Hicks. William was
first married to Mary Cook and had the following children:

1.Samantha Chaffins
2.Savanah Chaffins
3. Leland Chaffins
4. Sealand Chaffins (twin of Leland)

2. Virgie Chaffins
3.Girlie Chaffins

Emaline was first married to Jaxon Patton before she married William. they
had one son, Oscar.

I got this info from the book of the Descendants of Samuel Nelson Chaffins
and Nancy Jane Sutton. It was written by Irland Conley.
