I have a John Johnson listed as a possible son of Patrick Johnson. He was
born about 1807, and his wife's name was Sarah. Known children: Gilbert,
b. 1832; Hannah, 1834; Nancy 1837; Elizabeth 1838; Mary, 1840; Joseph, 1847;
Anna born 1849. Patrick Johnson was born 1771 and married Delilah Powell.
John is listed in the 1850 census of Floyd Co., living next door to Harvey
Johnson, son of Eli and a few housholds away from Patrick Johnson, age 79.

Taken from the Annals of Floyd County, Kentucky

p. 136
Bond dated 7 Aug 1813 by William Isaacs and Amose Slone for a marriage
shortly to be had between William Isaac and Mary Johnson.
August the 4, 1813 This is to certify there is to be a marriage to be had
between William Isaacs and Sarah Johnson and I have given my consent.
(S) John Johnson
(note the difference in names: the gond has marriage Mary Johnson and the
consent has Sarah Johnson but the groom is the same)
The census listing that you posted for 1830 has your John living next door
to a William Isaacs age 30-40. And nearby is Eli Johnson, son of Patrick and
William Johnson, brother of Patrick.

p. 143
Bond dated 12 June 1814 by John Price, John Johnson and Thomas Price, Sr for
a marriage between John Price and Nancy Johnson.

1840 Floyd County Ky census
John Johnson, age 30 to 40 listed near Jacob (only Jacob in my records was
the son of William Payne Johnson), Anna, Patrick (son of Patrick), Peyton
(son of Patrick), Bisha (son of Patrick), Harvey, Elisha, and David Johnson
(sons of Patrick Johnson) and Abner Caudle (married Ellender Johnson,
daughter of Patrick).
1 son age 5 to 10
2 daughters under 5
1 daughter between 5 and 10
Wife, 20 to 30

1820 Floyd County Ky census
John wasn't listed. Heads of households in 1820 was 2 Andrew Johnson's;
David, Eli, Elias, Jacob, 2 Patrick's; 4 Thomas's; and William.
