The following was found in the Tewksbury Almshouse Inmate Case
Histories, Vol. 40, 1/1884 to 6/1884, Tewksbury, MA, case 71344:
Calaher, Michael, 63, came there from Boston May 16, 1884. Born
Ireland, landed Cape Breton many years ago, to State and Boston in 1881
and there since. Wife, Martha, on Arichat Island, C. B. Brothers John
and Timothy in Woburn and Hudson Streets, Boston. Wants to go to C. B.
Can get there from Halifax. No money. Discharged May 24, 1884.
