The following was found in the Tewksbury Almshouse Inmate Case
Histories, Vol. 43, 3/1885 to 11/1885, Tewksbury, MA, cases 75096 and
75097:

  75096 - Wilson, Annie, 28, born Nova Scotia.
  75097 - Wilson, Willie, 2/12, born Lowell.
Came there from Lowell June 2, 1885.  Husband, James, born Nova Scotia.
Has not seen him for 3 years.  Annie came by rail to Lowell in 1881, and
there since.  Ancestors never here.  Father of her child, Simon Wheeler,
a visitor in the Out Door Poor Dept. of the State Board of Health,
Lunacy and Charity.  She had him arrested and he is now out on bail.
Has another illegitimate child in this institution, see 75130.  Sister
at 136 Middlesex St., Lowell.  Absconded July 8th and arrested in Lowell
July 9, 1885.
