Hi Lizette,
My wife and I just returned from Ireland on Thursday evening the 21st.
We did not go to Cobh on this trip but we did visit in 2001 and again in
2002. Although I have not used their service, the site itself is lovely
and somewhat emotional as you begin to realize the sacrifices the
emigrants made to leave their native land. The personnel were very
gracious and intensely interested in their work. If that is any
indication of the thoroughness of the research service it should be well
worth the 40 dollars.

Hi Listers,
Does anyone have any feedback on the Cobh Heritage Centre in Queenstown
Ireland? I just found an ancester on the ship "City of Brussels" out of
Queensland Ireland in 1871 and was thinking about Cobh Heritage Centre
doing some research for me. It cost $40 and I was wondering what could
I expect.
I appreciate any input.
Lizette
