I think $10 is a reasonable fee to belong to TIGS. I see many on the
list have not officially joined TIGS, so maybe Lizzette should put in
the welcoming message and message taglines an invitation for all to join
and who do contact to get fee and address. It seems many think TIGS is
a local organization and maybe the officers can work on dispelling the
image. TIGS is like all genealogical societies, open to all.
