I remember Mr. Maloney, a brakeman for the NYC RR with my dad, being killed,
as I recall, by falling between the cars. He lived on the corner of First
and Polk Streets, and this would have been in the mid-40s.

My ggrandfather (John Knudson) was killed at the State St and Sixth Ave
crossing by a train in Jan 1927....When was the accident you looked up? I
have the newspaper articles about the accident... I don't think there was
any civil suit but never thought to look anywhere...Did you come across
other accidents?
