It is unfair to blame a race of people for the actions of a few. I had
never heard Irish never cared for Italians or Syrians.
I grew up in NJ and we all got along pretty well. Many of my friends
were Italian-American.
Perhaps the newspaper was amiss in mentioning the ethnicity of the
persons involved.
