The Hillside School was formerly known as the Troy Catholic Male Orphan
Asylum (as was noted on the corner stone over the front entrance), and was
run and staffed by the Brothers of the Christian Schools (a.k.a. Christian
Brothers, or LaSallian Christian Brothers)
I lived and studied there from 1944 to 1951.
