My brother in law, Sean McNamee, is the swim coach at St Bonaventure
University, and as his dad John McNamee originally was from Troy, I sent
him both the letter from Gerald and the followup which mentioned the
connection to St Boanventure of Marc Evers.
He wrote back: "I know Marc Evers very well. He is with Wachovia Bank in
Charlotte."

BTW John McNamee was a professor at St Bona's until his death in 1964. He
started the swim team there back in 1948 and was a professor in the
Education department. There have been 4 swim coaches at Bonas...and 3 of
them McNamees :-)
