Frank Gatins hit.He scores on a hit by right fielder Gene Goode. Left fielder
Pete Eagan makes the score 2-0.Scranton ties it up but Troy retakes the lead
when Hafford drives catcher Maurice Spoesman in. However the final score 5-3 in
favor of Scranton.
Approximately 1000 boxing fans are sent home when a fight featuring Albany’s
Charley Hitte is halted when it is found that the promoter absconded with
the proceeds
