McNamee :-)
My husband's ancestor who arrived in Troy around 1846 was Lawrence. Family
lore claims he was from Tyrone....I believe his wife was Bridget (maiden
surname unknown).

anyone researching these surnames: RIORDAN / O'RIORDAN and MC NAMEE ?

Neighbors of my mother-in-law, they live part-time in Florida, but primarily

in Ireland; their people are from County Cork (near Cork City). I just
spoke to them on the phone, nice people and I told them I would ask the list

to see, because some of their people came to the US (port of New York) early

1900's. Maybe I've found present day cousins for someone? :^)
