Hi Ann,

If you come across any Ditmyer or Tracey pew holder cards let me know? Are these pew cards going to be posted on any website?

Also, does anyone have any experience research US passport files in the 1920's? I have relatives that travelled overseas(Britain) and I am trying to locate their documents. I found only limited files on Ancestry.

Concerning the query from Ann Barr....about her relative,Elizabeth Libby
Wren, I have just recently come across the name "Wren" when I was
transcribing the pew holder cards for Historic St.Mary's in downtown
Albany,New York.the name,Mary Wren appears in the sixth pew section(counting
beginning with the left wall, ( front),facing the altar).Mary Wren is in pew
number 12 sixth section, and the number on the card is #59.  there may be no
connection, but then again, may be a part to your puzzle.  Mimi Nicotina

Ho AnnEllen,

It ws very common for ages to change in census and other records.  There
wasn't the focus then on exact age.  People didn't need to prove age either.
They could begin working very young and no one generally had copies of their
birth certificates because they weren't needed for anything.

Also census informtion could be given by others and not the person involved
and they oftentimes didn't know anyone's exact age.

You should get a copy of Libby's civil birth cert and baptismal record.
Those may help you with your question.  She may have had a baptismal name
including Mary.
