There's you first mistake, never allow others to do your research.
Before going to the center, get online at FamilySearch.org and find the
film and number. Print out the page that describes the film and gives
the number. Bring that to the center to order. Once at the center,
request a copy of the order form. They have to use them to order the
film from Salt Lake City and for their records. You should get a pink
copy. It will have your name, address and phone number plus the title
of the film with the film number. That is you proof!
