On November 8, 2003, TIGS members had a wonderful tour of the Gardner Earl
To see a description of that tour along with some great photographs go to
the TIGS website: www.rootsweb.com/~nytigs click on MEETINGS
and on the next page on the left side click on TOURS.
This will bring up the Gardner Earl Tour to click on.

I always wondered what the inside of the chapel and crematorium looked like
and I found the National Historic Landmark Nomination online which included
a bunch of photos and details about the building. I've aways thought the
building was intriguing and am glad to see that the 10-year effort of
getting it listed as a national landmark is finally getting result. Best of
luck and thanks to the group of individuals involved in his undertaking.
