Gertude Pulcher was born in Ok in 1914 to Ned Pulcher and Angeline Patterson. Angeline Patterson was first married to an Ainsworth, and had 3 sons, Willie Ainsworth, Clarence Aisworth, And William Ainsworth. Willie always kept the Aisworth name, but Willam and Clarence took the Pulcher name. Ned and Angeline had Sylvia , Harriett, Ezkel, Ellsworth, Elmer, Rachel, Almo, Gertrude,and Leona. Harriett Pulcher married Albert Washington, and later raised the smaller children after Ned died. Angeline died before Ned. They were both Choctaw Freedman. Ned Pulcher was b. in Ok in 1862, and Angeline Patterson was born in Ok in 1865. You will find Ned and Angeline/Augeline(as she is listed, on the 1910 census living in Kennady, Le Flore Co Ok, with their children, Willie, Clarence, and William are listed as Ainsworth children, only Willie is listed as a stepchild, as all the other children are listed as Ned,s children. Angeline Pulcher and Elmo Pulcher are buried in the North McAlester!
Cemetery in Pittsburg Co Ok. ON the 1910, 1920, 1930, census records all the family are listed as black.

William Pulcher was living in Bucklucksy, Pittsburg Co Ok in 1930 as a single man. I do not know what happened to him after this. He was b. 1884 Ok. as an Ainsworth, later keeping the Pulcher name.
Clarence Pulcher b. 1889 Ok. was living in the Central Ok State Hospital in 1930, in Norman, Cleveland Co Ok, as a patient. Do not know what happened to him after that.

Gertrude and Leona Pulcher were living in the home of their bnl, Albert Washington and sister Harriett, in 1930, in Canadian, Pittsburg Co Ok.

Gertrude married Nathaniel Bouldin and they had some children born in Burleson Co Tx.

This would mean that Nathaniel abd Gertrude Bouldin were still in Texas at least until 1949. I do not know when they moved to Ca.

Angeline Pulcher Choctaw Freedman roll is 4737. Clarence Pulcher is 4740. Elsworth Pulcher is 224, Ezekial Pulcher is 223, Harriet Pulcher is 4744. Ned is 1690. Sylvia Pulcher is 4742. Tena Pulcher is 1691. (parent o Ned Pulcher)
