I am continuing my search for the burial place for John Lowrance who was
born 10 Jan. 1790 and died 28 Jan. 1876. My source said Stringtown which I
believe is in Atoka County. Does anyone have any information that would
help me?

Hello my mother was a Lawrence and her father reed Lawrence did spell his
last name lorrance at least his civil war papers say so and they lived in
Stringtown in atoka co. oklahoma, mom told me that one of my grandpa
a brother ran away and that know one every heard from him again.
