My grandfather John William Bell was signalman at Bradbury near Darlington
until 1944. He lived in the Railway Cottages there and his father John died
there.
John started his career at Darlington with the Stockton Darlington Railway
in 1870 and retired in about 1923.
When I went over there last year Bradbury station, signal cabin and
cottages had all disappeared.. I would be interested to hear from anyone who
knows of the area or family.
