Dear Listers
I am new to this list so am flagging my interest in the Seymour name.
I have a John Seymour who married Sarah Gregory 6 Dec 1756 Aspeden, Hertfordshire, England. I have found three children - John bap 16 July 1758; Thomas bap 21 Feb 1762 Aspeden (married Ann Harrison 24 Nov 1783 Aspeden) and Mary bap 13 May 1764 Aspeden.
Thomas and Ann (Harrison) had seven children all baptised Aspeden, Hertfordshire:
James 1784, Alfreda 1786, Ann 1787, Charles 1789, Thomas 1792, Charles 1799 (married Susan Mott) and William 1799.
Thomas Seymour (1792) married Mary Warters and they had five children all bap Aspeden: Charles 1818, Joseph 1821, Catherine 1823, Thomas 1826 & Anne 1830.
Charles had 3 marriages and emigrated to Australia in 1853.
Please let me know if you see anything familiar or have any ideas about this family.
