I have an Elizabeth Shumard, who was born December 4, 1770. I don't know where she was born, but she married William Kerr, who was born May 26, 1766, and died before August 1832 in Clermont Co., OH. They were married November 25, 1792, but I don't know where. William Kerr's will was probated August Term 1832. Samuel Shumard was a witness to the will. Security for the $1,000 bond of co-executor Joseph Moore was Samuel Shumard.

My information comes from the family bible,which I have and the will. Does this Elizabeth Shumard tie in with any of the other Shumards (possibly in NJ) you are familiar with? Is there possibly a relationship between Samuel Shumard and Elizabeth?

Any insight or help would be much appreciated.
