Does anyone know anything about where/who might have records of St. Eustatius
for the 1770s forward? I understand the British occupied it in 1781 to keep
them from aiding the "Rebels" in America. I think many Statius residents fled
to other islands. Any help greatly appreciated. Best, Laura A. in NC
